Eden Park Community Project
Sol Studios partnered with First Media Group to design a flyer for the Eden Park Community Project’s “Ten Bring $Ten” initiative—a campaign addressing environmental justice in Michigan’s Tri-City Area. The goal was to communicate the impact of industrial pollution on local communities and encourage collective action through small-scale donations.
Our Approach
We began by restructuring the original messaging into a clear and compelling format fit for a one-page flyer. The flyer was designed to:
Educate the public about the pollution crisis in the Tri-City Area
Inspire support for eco-scrubbing green spaces
Encourage $10 donations and viral sharing with the “Ten Bring $Ten” model
We used a clean layout, bold typography, and a purposeful color palette to balance urgency with hope. Custom design elements included the campaign’s tagline—“Little seeds grow mighty trees”—to reinforce grassroots impact.
Client Collaboration
After presenting two initial designs, we worked closely with Delora from First Media Group to refine the final version. Updates included:
Replacing “Detroit” with “Tri-City Area” to reflect the local focus
Enlarging and repositioning the Eden Park logo
Updating the final line to say, “Breathe without fear.”
The Result
The flyer became the campaign’s central visual piece—shared across digital channels and printed for local distribution. It served as both a fundraising tool and a community education asset, sparking conversations and action around clean air initiatives.
